I have a question about paper. We want to use hand made paper with texture for engraved wedding invitations. Which paper do you recommend? Arturo or Savoy? Thanks, Joan
Hand made papers are generally produced by small batch paper makers. A great alternative to a hand made paper is a paper produced in a mould. Mould made papers have a random fiber pattern like hand made papers but are easier to source.
Although Arturo is nicely textured, Arturo is a machine made paper where each sheet has an identical fiber formation and pattern. Arturo is a great option for wedding invitations and the heavyweight 600gsm presents extremely well.
For a more luxurious paper that offers a hand made feel, we recommend Somerset Velvet/Textured, Lanaquarelle Cold Press and Arches Cover. These mould made 100% cotton papers engrave extremely well and produce a stunning invitation.
Thanks,
Joan
