> Rives BFK Suitable for Oil Paint and Monoprinting
Is there a Rives BFK suitable for monoprinting with oil paint?
March 27, 2024 |
Rick
The only way you can oil paint on a regular Rives BFK sheet is to treat and gesso the sheet beforehand. With that said, our Stonehenge Oil is also suitable for both applications as well, but no prior prep is needed.

Is Stonehenge Oil a smooth surface?
March 27, 2024 |
Rick
Surface is smooth, but it has as a little bit of a soft texture cold press to the sheet, very light though.
