Ask an Expert - Forum > Rives Lightweight paper dip or spray for intaglio printming

HI, We usually use Rives BFK for intro students in printmaking printing their first line etch prints, but it's on back order. We have some Rives lightweight available. Should we dip it, or spay it before blotting and then printing?

Please have a look at this article regarding soaking suggestions for printmaking papers. Although it references Stonehenge, the same techniques can be applied to Rives.
