Are there any problems with glassine paper in long term storage of art works? I had heard in the past about some worries of using glassine as in case of humidity it's surface can stick to the art work.
Glassine is a great substrate to use for long term storage in a dry or climate controlled environment. If you are using glassine as an interleaving paper in a humid/damp environment, the glassine may stick to the artwork over a prolonged period of time.
A great alternative is the Legion Interleaving paper which is a Neutral PH, machinemade paper with a weight of 60gsm or 90gsm. This archival sheet will not stick to artwork in a humid environment and also offers more grip than the smoother glassine paper. Legion Interleaving is available in sheets and 60"x300" rolls.
