Ask an Expert - Forum > Gold Chine Colle

I've been searching for a gold paper that will work in a Chine Colle technique - for making prints. I think I'm inputting the incorrect search terms when I search the internet for it - I just can't seem to get on track. Anyone know of any metallic tissue papers that are acid-free and might suit this technique? I would be most grateful.
:)

Hi Lana, there are some thai unryu papers with gold inclusions that might interest you:

Thanks so much - I did see those, but I'm after something a bit more solid gold - like this: https://www.aplpackaging.co.uk/tissue-paper/metallic/gold.html
I just don't trust a packaging paper to do what I need...

Ah, OK, thanks for the link. We don't supply anything like that as it's more craft/party oriented. And you're right to question its long-term stability.
