I have been using glassine paper when shipping stocked canvas and this paper is getting stuck to them making almost impossible to take it off without ripping the paint or another embellishing product off the canvas. any other alternative paper available?

sounds like the coating on the canvas is causing it to adhere to the glassine. You might try interleaving papers:
