A new trend in art is to burn holes in the Yupo paper and layer it to create a three dimensional effect. Is this safe to do? I asked other artists and they replied that Yupo marketing info says it is safe to burn it. I assumed this was in regard to disposal and not in regard to using in an enclosed art room as an art technique. I would like more information as it created beautiful and intriguing effects and would like to try it if it is safe.
