I'm looking for the best inkjet paper, preferably rag or at least archival, for my fine art graphics. I use only pigment black ink in my graphics--no other colors. My graphics are composed of geometric shapes that are filled in with solid black ink. I need for these shapes to be as black and opaque as possible. I use HP pigment ink, and it is quite black and opaque on HP matte brochure paper. However, I want to use the same ink on a better quality archival paper. I've tried other matte papers and the black just isn't black enough. Maybe HP ink only works on HP paper?
Hi James, We suggest you try something from the Moab or Museo range of fine art inkjet papers. Both brands are superior, fine art quality with a variety of surface textures and finishes. For more information about Moab please visit www.moabpaper.com and for Museo, please visit www.museofineart.com.
