Ask an Expert - Forum > Finding pre-cut blue letterpress paper

I am looking to letterpress my own wedding invitations. I own a 6x10 kelsey excelsior side arm letterpress. The URL I attached is the color of paper I'm looking to letterpress on.. I wanted to back it to on a pocket card but I'm having trouble finding exactly where to look for colored letterpress paper, what weight i should use (i'm guessing between 100 and 150?) I would just love it if I could get a little bit of direction and know where I can find paper in this color range I also was going to do a gold metallic/copper oil based ink. Am I going to have problems there? Thank you for your time!

Hi Emily,

You've come to the right place! We just launched our new, super-duper ultimate paper selector, which allows you to easily search out 3500+ papers and filter by color. Try it out here:

As with all processes and inks it's simply best to test. Happy to send you samples of a paper that matches your color.
