Ask an Expert - Forum > Sizing on BFK

I made drawings with ink washes on BFK during years. I stopped using it for a while and when I went back to it , suddenly the paper just started "drinking" up the ink and making the colors opaque. ( I use FW and Liquitex acrylic inks ) When I wet it , instead of the water just running smoothly, a big water stain forms. Has the sizing in this paper changed? If not, any ideas as to what might be happening or what I can do to fix this problem? Is there any paper more suited to drawing with ink but similar in texture and weigh? I just love BFK's velvety texture. Thanks!
