good morning....while researching silverpoint artists, one, susan schwalb, mentions using plike paper as a substrate...which would you recommend?...thanks, leslie...ps..your other question/answer posts have been helpful in my other work...
Plike happens to be an excellent surface for silverpoint drawing. Silverpoint is literally taking the coating off the sheet and leaving behind an image. The best papers are those that have a matte or gloss coating on them. Another great choice is Legion Art Coated Cover, which is available through us directly.
