Nothing is really ever *completely* lightfast (no matter what a mill says). Put any colored paper that is said to be lightfast in a window exposed to natural light or UV light and you'll run into some issues. That said, we will get specific specs from the mill and get back to you.
Thanks. I've been using Hahnemuhle Ingres and they've discontinued some colors. I found Zerkall Ingres and fell in love with the colors. I am hoping Zerkall Ingres is lightfast because I'd love to use those colors in some folded sculptural pieces I make. Thanks.
i was wondering if you ever got a response from the mill about how lightfast this paper is. i have used the hahnemuhle ingres too and i am really kind of disappointed that they are no longer making some of the colors.
is it just me or are a lot of the ingres papers no longer being offered? i noticed that fabriano ingres, that used to come in a lot of colors, is now only being offered in a few colors.
i thought that this was a pretty commonly used paper?
thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Hi, I'm more than kind of disappointed that Hahnemuhle Ingres paper is not getting restocked all over the country. I used this paper for a lot of letterpress book projects. It was archival, grain short, and there was always a color that would play nicely with whatever other materials I was using. What has happened to it? Is it the mill or the distributors? Totally Bummed in Seattle
