Do you know where I could find any remaining stock of the Lana Gravure paper? If not, do you have any suggestions of a comparable product?

The Lana Gravure paper was discontinued about 10 years ago by the then Lana mill which has since been acquired by Hahnemuhle. This was not the only grade that was no longer produced: Lana Royal & Lana Laid were discontinued as well. There are several mould made papers that mirror the same quality in terms of look and printability. Somerset velvet & Somerset satin in the soft white shade would be comprable. Revere suede and Revere silk in the ivory or warm white shades would also work very well. The only company that might possibly still have some stock would be New York Central Art Supply in NYC. (Tel # 212 473-7705). They also stock the other grades as well. Please visit our website for other stocking distributors of Somerset & Revere if need be. If you like to see some samples of the Somerset or Revere just send in a request.
