A client wants letterpress greeting cards, black line illustration, to which they'd like to add whimsical touches in watercolor. Do you think the Arturo cards with their texture very reminiscent of watercolor media would be conducive to such a watercolor treatment? I read everything I can find on Arturo, and can't find 1 mention of surface or internal sizing, which is giving me the feel that their is likely none, agreed? My main draw to use these cards is their 'similar to watercolor paper' texture and the fact that they come pre-scored, a nice time saver in the press room. I'd appreciate your thoughts, thank you.
If it’s just accents, it should be fine for watercolor. There is internal sizing, but very little surface sizing. For an embellishment, but not a heavy wash, it should be fine.
is arturo archival? can it be used for small drawings and washes?
thank you
