Ask an Expert - Forum > Lenox 100 paper for Inkjet?

I am interested in using Lenox 100 paper for wedding invitations. Can you tell me if this paper would be compatible with an ink jet printer? Also can I get a sample if it is?

Thank you

Thanks for your inquiry. Lenox 100 is not designed to be used on an inkjet printer. Since it doesn’t possess the proper top coating for this process the inks coming off the printer will not register correctly and will bleed into the paper. In the world of fine art inkjet paper the closest substitute for Lenox 100 can be found in the Moab Paper range and is called Entrada Rag. Entrada comes in multiple weights, two shades and is compatible with most Epson, Canon and HP inkjet printers. You can follow this link to learn more http://moabpaper.com/entrada-rag/. Since you’re using this paper for a wedding invitation you’ll be glad to know that Entrada also comes in pre-scored cards with matching envelopes, learn more here http://moabpaper.com/entradalopes/.

In terms of samples your best option is to grab a Moab Paper sample box which contains 2 sheets of everything Moab Paper has to offer including the 4 different grades of Entrada Rag. Sample boxes can be found here http://moabpaper.com/sample-boxes/ or at any of our many resellers.
